The more time we spend in nature, the greater the effects. Spending just one hour in nature has been shown to improve memory and attention span by 20%. A 10-year follow-up of 6,500 people aged 45–68 in the UK found that cognitive decline was 4.6% lower in participants living in greener neighbourhoods.
