Equity Derivative

Equity derivatives are listed andor over-the-counter financial derivatives – futures, options, forwards, warrants, contracts for difference, swaps – whose underlyings are equity-related. They can be related to single stocks, bespoke equity baskets, stock indexes, equity volatility and stock dividends. Like all derivatives, equity derivatives can be used as tools to facilitate hedging and speculation.
