We are a certified B Corp

Why B Corp?

Why B Corp?

It’s easy to talk about doing business the “right way”, but much harder to do in practice.

We applied for B Corp certification as a way to hold ourselves accountable, to be a company that “walks the walk”, rather than just “talking the talk’.

We are now part of a rapidly growing community of businesses around the world that believe the purpose of a company is not just to make profit, but also to be a force for good in the world.

What is a B Corp?

What is a B Corp?

B Corps are for-profit companies that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency, as independently verified by B Lab.

How to become a B Corp

The assessment covers many aspects of a business, including employee benefits, charitable activities, supplier selection, and direct environmental impact.

In order to achieve certification, a company must:

  • Achieve a score in the B Impact Assessment of >80 and pass through the verification stage, which consists of several interviews with B Lab assessors.
  • Make a legal commitment in corporate governance documents to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
  • Show transparency by allowing performance against B Lab’s standards to be publicly available on B Lab’s website.
