A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter is granted by the CFA Institute to people who have completed the CFA Program and work experience requirements. The CFA programme tests fundamentals of investment tools, asset valuation, portfolio management, and wealth planning. Charter holders can use the CFA designation after completing the programme and work in senior and executive positions in the financial sector. The CFA Institute is a not-for-profit organisation that describes itself as the world’s largest association of investment professionals.
