Net-zero Economy
Net-zero refers to the balance between the amount of greenhouse gas produced and the amount removed from the atmosphere. Therefore a net-zero economy is an economy where low-carbon, non GHG-emitting operations have become the norm. To reach this point, heavy investment is required from both the private and public sectors and is estimated to cost between $100 - $150tn over the next three decades.
