Survivorship Bias
Survivorship bias refers to the results of skewed analysis that only incorporates attributes of people, companies, tactics or strategies – whatever is being analysed – that have been successful while ignoring those that have failed. Survivorship bias can lead to wholly erroneous interpretations that can themselves lead to failure.
